Award Winning Destination

The World Travel Awards Ceremony was recently held where destination, airlines, airports, hotels, spas, cruises and more were nominated and awarded.

Here are three of the winners. We bet these places are worth it. 

Lisbon, Portugal

Lisbon in Portugal won the Awards Europe’s Leading City Break Destination 2013.This is not the only award that Portugal received as it was a winner in the Europe’s leading section. Portugal was chosen the Leading Golf Destination, Algarve Europe’s Leading Beach Destination and on top of that several hotels in Portugal also received awards.

Stockholm, Sweden

The Icehotel in Sweden won the Europe’s Leading Green Hotel awards. We checked it out and there is not a room available until the 6th of December. But we know how eager you are to get to your travelling so we decided to stick with the October plan and found lovely deals.

Pricey but could be totally worth it, though you can actually stay at another 5 star hotel for ten days for the same price as a night at the Mardan Palace. Sounds good? Check out the offers that we found and indulge yourself with sun and beach in October, with perfect temperature of 20°C on average.
