The cheapest hotel room in the world?

Do you always get what you pay for-or does life sometimes offer opportunities to grab the deal of a lifetime?
The latter may finally be true when it comes to hotel bookings. According to Tourism Review the brand new 538-room Ibis Singapore hotel has launched a promotional campaign in which potential customers can sign up and decide themselves what to pay for their stay.
The procedure is fairly straightforward: Once a customer has signed up, he or she waits until they need to make their booking. The first bidder can offer any price he or she wants, even though normal rack rates start at USD 90 per room. The lucky early birds might even get a room for as little as 1 Singapore dollar! (65 US cents).
